No Manatees are not slimy.
They have skin like the bottom of Dad's feet. And it is hard to tell if something is slimy if you are already under water!

ewwww you touched Dad's feet? (although, it is true that his feet are surprisingly well-kept.)
Okay, so I don't know for a fact if my dad's feet are slimy...I haven't touched them or if I have I blocked it out. Manatees feel more like I imagine the bottom of his feet to feel.
